Oscar Health is revamping its enrollment portal in collaboration with the technology platform Stride Health. Stride for Health Plans, which features an Enhanced Direct Enrollment interface with healthcare.gov and hosts the complete process on a single website, is now powering enrollment for the payer.
- Partnership: The partnership also allows brokers to engage with members through Oscar’s portal. In addition to providing that functionality via an integration with the HealthCare.gov Affordable Care Act site, the Stride platform will be available to clients of Oscar’s newly tech-driven platform business, according to the health insurer’s statement.
- Experience: “Our focus has always been to provide an unparalleled experience for all who interact with Oscar, whether that’s our members, brokers, or general agents,” said Louis DeStefano, senior vice president of growth for Oscar Health.
- Solutions: “Our integration with Stride for Health Plans allows us to do just that. We are proud to be finding new solutions to support brokers this open enrollment and help individuals get enrolled in our plans, giving them access to high-quality, affordable care”, said Louis.
- Health insurance: Since 2014, they have helped over 2.7 million people save over $2.8 billion on everything from their health insurance to their taxes. Their headquarters are in San Francisco, California and they have teammates all across the United States.
- Focused: They’ve been focused on helping rideshare and delivery drivers, freelancers, real estate agents, hair stylists, athletes, caregivers, pet sitters, creators, independent contractors, and part-time employees get their own “portable benefits,” which are benefits that belong to you and that you get to keep regardless of what type of work you’re doing or where you’re doing it since day one.
