From continued expansions of Medicare Advantage plans across the country to Michigan forcing a payer to cease all operations, these are 11 recent moves by insurers to exit or enter markets:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Health Care Service Corp<\/strong>. is looking to expand its Medicare Advantage offerings to an additional 1.1 million Medicare-eligible individuals in 150 counties across Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. St. Luke’s Health System<\/strong> in Boise, Idaho, will begin offering its first health plans in 2023 in 20 counties across the state. The nonprofit St. Luke’s Health Plan will be offered both on and off the exchange, and employer plans for large and small groups will also be available. Eventually, a Medicare Advantage offering will be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
