Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield<\/a> is adding four behavioral health providers to its network in response to a growing need for services in New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The company is adding Alma, Headway, NOCD and Ophelia, all of which offer virtual care options, according to an Aug. 23 news release from Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Empire members can search Alma’s free directory to find in-network providers, according to the release. Members can search New York therapists and filter the results by age, gender, specialty, race and ethnicity, sexual orientation, therapeutic style and specific concerns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Headway offers Empire members the ability to schedule appointments, have price transparency and find a provider<\/a> who meets their clinical needs and preference, according to the release.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n NOCD offers obsessive-compulsive disorder treatments to those as young as 5, according to the release. Through its platform, members can access virtual, face-to-face therapy from a national network of licensed therapists who specialize in exposure and response prevention therapy. NOCD is in network across all Empire lines of business. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Ophelia offers Empire members evidence-based opioid use disorder treatment, according to the release. The company combines telemedicine with medication<\/a>-assisted treatment.
