Life Science Women’s Conference Advances Health Leadership

Introduction to Life Science Women’s Conference 2026

The Life Science Women’s Conference returns to Tampa Bay, Florida on February 2-3, 2026, bringing together 500+ women in biotech, pharma, medtech, and health for a one-of-a-kind conference driving connection, recognition, and opportunity. This premier global event was designed by a woman in life science who recognized the urgent need for an environment that brought together women who want to meet, mentor, support, collaborate and do business with each other.

The conference addresses a fundamental truth: real career and business power is not in who YOU know, but in WHO knows YOU. This philosophy shapes every aspect of the two-day experience, from networking opportunities to speaker selections to exhibitor engagement.

Premier Global Conference for Women in Biotech

Join 500+ attendees from over 20 states and countries for two days of networking with resourceful exhibitors, presenters and speakers who are shaping what’s next in life science, biotech, medtech, femtech, pharma, women’s health and medicine.

Comprehensive Professional Development Focus

With a focus on Funding & Entrepreneurship, HR, Career Development, New Products, and Career Connections, the LSWC brings together some of the most successful professionals who want to connect with you. The conference features over 50 speakers and presenters representing the best and brightest in their respective fields.

Conference Dates and Location Details

The 2026 Life Science Women’s Conference takes place February 2-3, 2026 at The Marshall Center at University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. This convenient location provides excellent access for both national and international attendees while offering state-of-the-art facilities designed to facilitate meaningful interaction and engagement.

Building High-Impact Professional Connections

LSWC creates real opportunities to connect with collaborators, mentors, funders, and sponsors without the traditional barriers often encountered in male-dominated professional environments. The conference is structured to facilitate long-lasting relationships through strategic networking opportunities designed specifically to maximize connection quality over quantity.

Strategic Relationship Building

Remember, it’s not who YOU know, but WHO knows YOU that really counts. The conference format facilitates interaction through small group sessions, targeted networking events, and structured opportunities to meet personally with investors, funders, HR experts, and industry leaders.

Visibility and Recognition Platform

Too often, women’s work goes unnoticed in scientific and business environments. This conference gives you a platform to showcase your expertise and elevate your voice among peers, investors, potential collaborators, and industry decision-makers who can directly impact your career trajectory.

Maximum Exposure Opportunities

Gain visibility for your work through multiple channels including speaking opportunities, new product showcases, exhibition booths, and publication in the Life SCI Women Magazine. For maximum product exposure, attendees can become exhibitors or qualify for the new product showcase.

Accelerating Career Momentum and Growth

Get tools, mentorship, and strategic advice to accelerate your career path whether you’re aiming for the lab, the boardroom, or both. The conference provides access to career conversations, HR experts, and professional development resources specifically designed to help women advance in life sciences.

Career Development Resources

Immerse yourself in a female-friendly environment that is educational, informational and resourceful while expanding your professional network. It’s also where you will find men who support professional women and want to do business with women-owned companies.

Funding Opportunities and Investor Access

Funding should be about your idea, not your gender. We bring together VCs, accelerators, and innovation partners looking to invest in women-led science. Sadly, women only receive around 2% of VC Biotech funding, yet statistically, they run more profitable companies than their male counterparts.

Investor Networking

From Angel investors to VC funders, the conference is the place to be for women who are starting or growing companies and seeking needed funding. Meet one on one with investors, funders and other sources of capital through structured networking sessions and informal opportunities throughout the two-day event.

Speaker Platform and Thought Leadership

Whether you’re a first-time presenter or seasoned expert, LSWC offers a platform to share your insights and inspire others. Share your research, startup, or story on a stage built to elevate women in Life Science while gaining visibility, credibility, and the opportunity to be published in the conference magazine.

Presentation Opportunities

The program of over 50 speakers and presenters is designed to greatly contribute to educational and professional development. These professional women will be focusing on women’s enlightenment, funding & entrepreneurship, the latest FEMtech, AI and digital technology, MEDtech, women’s health & wellness, career development, leadership roles, networking, mentorship, and empowerment.
