Fullpath has launched Chat-GPT4, an AI tool for automotive dealerships, to improve online vehicle shopping experiences and customer relations management. The system will enable customers to ask dealership-specific questions, as well as identify specific customers in the dealership’s database. More than 500 North American dealerships have already signed up for the waitlist to use Fullpath’s Chat-GPT4 system. Vehicle buyers increasingly rely on digital solutions, spending an average of nearly 14 hours online during their search.
Fullpath, a Customer Data and Experience Platform (CDXP), has announced the launch of the first ever Chat-GPT4 powered product, tailored specifically for automotive dealerships through APIs and data connectivity. Fullpath is using the AI tool to improve the online vehicle shopping experience and what’s known as CRM, or customer relations management for dealerships. The AI is trained to combine the vast knowledge of the internet with the proprietary Fullpath data layer so it can identify specific shoppers in the dealership’s database.
For instance, shoppers can ask dealer-specific questions such as, “What is the best car available for a family of five for $22,000 or less?” or “My car broke down. How can you help?” More than 500 North American dealerships have joined the waitlist to use the Chat-GPT4 technology from Fullpath.
The automotive industry is increasingly reliant on digital solutions, and ChatGPT-4 is a potent engine for efficiency and personalization. The AI tool can connect to critical aspects of dealer and OEM operations, making Fullpath the first platform to realize its potential for automotive, according to CEO and Co-founder Aharon Horwitz.
Fullpath, formerly known as AutoLeadStar, has developed CDXP which is used by 1,000 dealerships across North America. Those that have signed up to use the tool are eager to put it to work. Sean Western, Director of Marketing at Quirk Automotive Group, the first customer to adopt the technology while in beta, said, “Meeting the customer at the start of their automotive purchasing journey with personalized, relevant engagement is a must. Fullpath has allowed us to do exactly that with their platform, and now with the addition of their Chat-GPT4 integration, we’re able to blow customers away right as they land on our website.”
In addition, Derek Deboer, Owner of TC Chevrolet in Oregon, added, “It’s no surprise that Fullpath was the first company to release ChatGPT for car dealers, as they have consistently shown their commitment to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in our industry. We are proud to be working with Fullpath as we continue to offer cutting-edge solutions to our customers.”
Vehicle buyers increasingly turn to online research before they visit dealerships. “95% of vehicle buyers use digital as a source of information. Twice as many start their research online versus at a dealer,” according to Google Consumer Insights. Auto LeadStar changed its name to Fullpath in February, indicating its embrace of artificial intelligence was a product of the real thing. According to the company’s blog post, the name change was the outcome of a “late-night brainstorming session.”
