Boston Scientific, a medical device manufacturer based in Marlborough announced in June that David Wichmann has been elected to its board of directors, effective immediately. According to the press release, Wichmann recently served as CEO of global conglomerate UnitedHealth Group from 2017 to 2021.
- Previous engagements: Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group, Wichmann was a partner at the global accounting firm Arthur Andersen & Co. He has served on the boards of UnitedHealth Group and Tennant Co. and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Illinois State University.
