Clover Health, a cutting-edge technology firm dedicated to promoting health equality for America’s neglected seniors, has announced a strategic alliance with ValueH, a leading member organization focused on Value-Based Care. ValueH will begin supporting Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and Management Services Organizations (MSOs) participating in Clover’s Direct Contracting Entity in 2022 as part of the agreement.
- Better care: Clover’s DCE will allow doctors to use the Clover Assistant to oversee the treatment of their Original Medicare patients. The Clover Assistant is a clinical software application that provides clinicians with data-driven, individualized advice at the point of treatment to help them better care for their patients.
- Ability: “The team at ValueH has deep experience with value-based care, best practices, and enablement services that they share with Florida accountable care organizations and managed care organization leaders,” said Kelly Conroy, Chief Executive Officer of ValueH. “Our partnership with Clover allows us to continue to champion independent practices while enhancing each entity’s ability to make measurable improvements in care.”
- Beneficiaries: Since joining the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Global and Professional Direct Contracting Model, Clover Health Partners has gained a lot of traction as a Direct Contracting Entity. It had contracts with over 1,800 individual providers in eight states as of April 1, 2021, and had over 65,000 claims aligned beneficiaries.
- Service provider: The ValueH Network is a Florida-based ecosystem of the greatest service providers. It consists of Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) providers who excel in both quality and cost criteria. VALUEH gathers the best and uses it to create contracts that maximize income while minimizing risk on behalf of its partners.
- Risk bearer: Clover Health is a next-generation risk-bearing organization aiming to achieve health equity for all Americans. With its corporate headquarters in Nashville, Clover’s workforce is distributed around the U.S. and also includes a team of world-class technologists based in Hong Kong. The company manages care for Medicare beneficiaries in eleven states, including Arizona, Georgia, Kansas, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Vermont.
