The Nevada Department of Health and Human Services – Health Care Financing and Policy has awarded Centene Corporation’s Nevada subsidiary, SilverSummit Healthplan, Inc., a contract to continue providing managed care services for its Medicaid Managed Care program in both Clark and Washoe Counties.
- Service: Since 2017, SilverSummit Healthplan has serviced Nevada Medicaid enrollees, and it now has over 77,000 members. Over 760,000 TANF, SCHIP, and Medicaid Expansion clients in Nevada get physical and mental health care, as well as pharmacy benefits, through the Nevada Medicaid program.
- Managed care: Nevada’s Medicaid managed care program will advance the State’s goals through increased focus on Care Management, Member engagement, access, and continued progress towards integration of services and efficiency.
