Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield’s Connecticut headquarters building is set to go up for auction in April, according to CTInsider. Anthem occupies 48,000 square feet in the 280,000-square-foot building in Wallingford, which also houses three other tenants. Anthem reportedly used to occupy 200,000 square feet in the building when it first moved in. A spokesperson for Anthem did not confirm if the company plans to keep space in Wallingford or how many employees currently work there. Anthem also has office space in Rocky Hill, Conn.

Anthem occupies around 48,000 square feet in the 280,000-square-foot building in Wallingford, Conn. The building has three other tenants. Building developers told CTInsider Anthem occupied 200,000 square feet in the building when it first moved into the property.
A spokesperson told CTInsider the company “consistently assesses our office space needs to align with our hybrid work mode.” The spokesperson did not say if Anthem plans to keep space in Wallingford or how many employees work in its current office space.
Anthem also has office space in Rocky Hill, Conn.
