TCARE has named former Centene Chief Solutions Officer Nate Moore as the company’s chief operating officer.
Mr. Moore has experience in leading rapidly growing and expanding teams with a background in healthcare operations and technology, according to an April 27 press release.
Mr. Moore worked at Centene for 14 years. He built Centene’s Washington state health plan during its initial Medicaid award and led the rollout of the ACA program in that market. He also led many of Centene’s multinational technology teams with the responsibility of supporting clinical operations, digital, call center operations and data. Teams under his leadership expanded Centene’s future technology architecture and built the first cloud technology migration to support growth.
“TCARE has entered its hyper growth phase with the healthcare payer market, specifically doubling down on its government & commercial health plan business. The timing is right to bring on an executive to help us navigate the growth,” CEO Ali Ahmadi said. “In his 14 years with Centene, Nate was instrumental in navigating solutions from a $1 billion to a $125 billion market cap company. This experience brings invaluable skills to an organization that has grown 15 times in the last 24 months and expects to quadruple in size within the next 12 months.”
St. Louis-based TCARE, or tailored caregiver assessment and referral system, uses predictive technology to map interventions and reduce family providers’ burdens. Providers can use the TCARE system to assess a family caregiver’s social determinants of health, identify specific risk factors related to stress and depression, and create custom care plans.
