Access to health care and coverage coming from a partnership between employers and health insurance providers has been proved valuable during the COVID-19 crisis, says a report by AHIP. This is true for more than 183 million Americans. In an uncertain time, when pandemic related treatment bill can easily deliver shocks, the employer-backed coverage has provided cushioning. The survey also revealed that more than half of the employees could get easy and fast access to required services like coverage for tests, telehealth, and vaccine.
