Vytalize Health, a value-based care company, has expanded its board of directors by appointing former UnitedHealth Group CEO Dave Wichmann and Amy Compton-Phillips, MD, President and Chief Clinical Officer of Press Ganey. Wichmann retired from UnitedHealth Group in 2021 and co-founded Jory Capital, while Compton-Phillips previously served as President of Clinical Operations at Providence. Their addition brings valuable expertise to strengthen Vytalize Health’s ability to provide analytics and recommendations for primary care providers.
Vytalize Health, a company specializing in value-based care and offering analytics and recommendations to primary care providers, has recently expanded its board of directors with the addition of two esteemed members. Among them is Dave Wichmann, the former CEO of UnitedHealth Group. The announcement was made through a news release by Vytalize on July 10. Alongside Mr. Wichmann, Amy Compton-Phillips, MD, who currently holds the positions of president and chief clinical officer at Press Ganey, has also joined the board.
Mr. Wichmann brings with him a wealth of experience, having retired from his role as CEO of UnitedHealth Group in 2021. During his tenure, which began in 2017, he made significant contributions to the company’s success. In addition to his impressive background, Mr. Wichmann is also a co-founder of Jory Capital, a private equity fund.
Dr. Compton-Phillips, on the other hand, previously served as the president of clinical operations at Providence, a healthcare organization based in Renton, Washington. With her extensive expertise and leadership in the clinical field, she brings valuable insights to the Vytalize Health board.
The addition of these accomplished individuals to Vytalize Health’s board of directors further strengthens the company’s strategic positioning and enhances its ability to deliver high-quality value-based care solutions to primary care providers.
