Health insurer and medical care provider Humana Inc. will rebrand two of its senior-focused primary care clinic companies, one of which is in Orlando. Family Physicians Group and Partners in Primary Care will get the new name of CenterWell Senior Primary Care. The changing of names will continue from April and will roll out over the next year or two.
- Under the new brand, Human will proceed to operate the 24 centers that have operated under the Family Physicians Group and the 41 centers that were formerly Partners in Primary care.
- Family physicians Group was acquired by Humana in 2018 which is considered to be one of the largest privately held firms in Orlando recognized for their clinical programs in the treatment of diabetes and heart stroke.
- Partners in Primary Care will be the first one to adopt the new brand. This well-known clinical care provider operates in Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas. This new rebranding will not affect and have any impact over the 90 centers that are operating under the Conviva brand in South Florida and South Texas.
- Bruce Broussard, CEO, and President of Humana said in a press release, “ we need a brand that speaks to how we put our members and patients at the center of everything we do. When we place the individual at the center, focus on their individual needs, and personalize the care we deliver to them we have our best opportunity to help them be well and achieve their best health”.
