An agreement has been successfully reached between Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Covenant Health, the operator of St. Mary’s in Lewiston, and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bangor. Covenant Health had been engaged in negotiations with Anthem to establish a new in-network contract, as the previous one had expired. Fortunately, a resolution was reached before the coverage was scheduled to be affected today.
