Eleven officials make up Cigna’s executive leadership team, according to its website.
Here is information about those executives:
David Cordani, chairman and CEO: Mr. Cordani became Cigna’s president and CEO in 2009. He assumed the additional role of chairman in January.
Chuck Berg, president of U.S. government business and senior adviser: Mr. Berg joined Cigna in January. He is responsible for guiding the expansion of Cigna’s Medicare Advantage and individual and family plan businesses. He previously served as executive chair of DaVita Medical Group, a value-based medical group that was acquired by Optum.
Noelle Eder, executive vice president and CIO: As CIO, Ms. Eder shapes and leads the payer’s enterprise technology strategy. She joined Cigna in September 2020 from Hilton Worldwide Holdings, where she served as chief information and digital officer.
Brian Evanko, executive vice president and CFO: Mr. Evanko has been with Cigna since 1998. Prior to serving as CFO, he led Cigna’s government business segment.
Nicole Jones, executive vice president and general counsel: Ms. Jones oversees all legal, regulatory, compliance and government affairs and communications functions for Cigna.
Everett Neville, executive vice president, strategy, corporate development and solutions: Mr. Neville leads the company’s strategy, corporate and business development, Cigna Ventures and Cigna Solutions.
Eric Palmer, Evernorth president and CEO: Mr. Palmer is responsible for Evernorth’s strategic direction, financial performance and growth. Evernorth is Cigna’s health services division.
Cindy Ryan, executive vice president and chief human resources officer: Ms. Ryan spent 23 years with Cigna in roles of increasing responsibility before being named chief human resources officer in August 2021.
Jason Sadler, president of international markets: Mr. Sadler leads Cigna’s international business, which has 12 million customers in more than 200 countries. He joined Cigna in 2010.
Paul Sanford, executive vice president, operations: Mr. Sanford oversees Cigna’s customer service operations, healthcare provider services and overall operational effectiveness. He has been with Cigna for more than 20 years.
Mike Triplett, president of U.S. commercial: Mr. Triplett leads Cigna’s U.S. employer group business market strategy, sales, specialty product distribution and local community engagement initiatives. He joined Cigna in 1998.
