The largest not-for-profit, Medicare Advantage and health maintenance organization SCAN Health Plan has included Prospect Medical Group of San Diego to its provider network from New Year.
- Primary care: With the new agreement, SCAN Health Plan members can now avail the services of 300 primary care doctors and over 730 experts.
- Robust network: Sherry Stanislaw, general manager of SCAN Health Plan, said: “We are excited to expand our relationship with Prospect Medical Group and Health Excel to offer SCAN members in San Diego access to a robust network of quality physicians and care options.”
- Rapid growth: Stanislaw said, “SCAN is on a trajectory of rapid growth, and through the expansion of our network with like-minded partners such as Prospect and Health Excel, we’re able to deliver on our mission to keep older adults healthy and independent.”
- Continued expansion: Jim Brown, CEO, Prospect Medical Systems, said: “Prospect is excited about our growth and the continued expansion of our relationship with SCAN.
