
In 15 states, at least half of Medicare beneficiaries are enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans, according to a report from healthcare consulting firm Chartis.
Nationwide, 46 percent of Medicare beneficiaries are enrolled in Medicare Advantage, according to Chartis’ report, published Feb. 21.
Michigan and Minnesota have the highest percentage of beneficiaries enrolled in MA, with 57 percent of Medicare eligibles choosing MA.

Rhode Island: 56 percent
Florida: 54 percent
Maine: 54 percent
