FAMILY CLINIC MOVES TO ECLINICALWORKS SYSTEM FOR SCALABILITY
Care Choice Family Clinic, PLLC in Plano, TX, will implement a health IT system from EHR vendor eClinicalWorks’ to customize workflows and improve operational efficiency.
The implementation is set to allow the new family practice to deliver comprehensive patient care and scale as needed.
Care Choice Family Clinic cares for patients two years old and up, focusing on primary care, sick visits, and minor urgent care.

ORTHOPEDIC HOSPITAL LOOKS TO ORACLE CERNER SYSTEM TO DRIVE INTEROPERABILITY
OSS Orthopedic Hospital, LLC (OSS Health) in rural Pennsylvania has selected an Oracle Cerner CommunityWorks EHR implementation to consolidate their ambulatory and hospital systems into a single patient record.
The implementation is set to optimize workflows and interoperability across systems for improved patient and provider experiences.
“Oracle Cerner offers an approach focused on helping us with implementation, support, and innovative vision for the future of healthcare technology,” Troy Phillips, CEO of OSS Health, said in a press release.
“We’re excited about analytics we’ll gain to help with data-driven decision making and a revenue cycle platform that improves charge capture, submit clean claims more quickly, and automates many of the manual workflows,” he added.
CommunityWorks is a cloud-based EHR system designed to meet the unique needs of smaller communities.
COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS SELECT EPIC EHR IMPLEMENTATION
Eleven community health centers in Iowa have partnered with OCHIN to implement an Epic EHR for patient-centered care delivery.
Managed by INConcert Care, a sister organization of the Iowa Primary Care Association (Iowa PCA), the collaboration aims to connect community health centers with integrated support for care coordination between medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services.
“We are honored to join forces with the Iowa PCA and INConcert Care to expand care access and positively impact lives through the collective knowledge and expertise of all three organizations,” Abby Sears, CEO and president of OCHIN, said in a press release.
“By working together to connect and strengthen the healthcare network in Iowa, we can ensure more equitable access to primary care for the long-term,” Sears added.
