The platform utilizes AI and sensors to collect real-time behavior data for healthcare insights. The collaboration enables AI-powered patient monitoring and virtual visits. Care.ai recently raised $27 million in funding and has partnered with BioIntelliSense and the Texas Hospital Association. HealthTap and Samsung previously collaborated to bring virtual healthcare to Samsung Smart TVs in the US.

The platform utilizes AI and a network of sensors within care facilities to collect real-time behavior data for clinical and operational insights.
Through this collaboration, care.ai’s platform will be integrated into Samsung displays, enabling AI-powered patient monitoring. Additionally, healthcare teams will be able to conduct virtual visits using care.ai devices paired with Samsung displays.
Chakri Toleti, the founder of care.ai, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating that it delivers an exceptional experience for both patients and clinicians, allowing clinicians to provide top-quality care regardless of whether they are physically present or attending virtual visits.
In November, care.ai secured $27 million in funding to support its expansion and deliver ambient intelligence to healthcare. The company has also partnered with BioIntelliSense to integrate the BioButton wearable, which continuously monitors vital signs such as temperature, respiratory rate, and heart rate at rest, into its Smart Care Facility Platform. Furthermore, care.ai has collaborated with the Texas Hospital Association to promote the adoption of AI-powered patient monitoring throughout the state.
Last year, HealthTap and Samsung joined forces to introduce virtual healthcare services on Samsung Smart TVs in the United States, showcasing the increasing trend of integrating technology into healthcare solutions.
